Acting for the Stage and Film/Television
Theater Arts 2

This is a intermediate level course. Students learn through performances the various techniques used in the creation and presentation of a character for the stage. Proper use of voice, the body, and other elements (costumes, make-up, etc.) are explored. Students will learn the principles of acting methods, movement, and performance quality.

Weeks 5-15: Theater Arts 2 Play Rehearsals and Performances

Week 16: Public Speaking

Week 17: Commercial Acting and TV Talk Show Production

Week 18: News Anchor Show Production
